Melbourne Cup

What place did your horse finish in the race that stops the Nation?

I took a dip in the excitement of Melbourne cup. For years I have been a bystander. I realise my knowledge of horses is next to negligible. Moreover, I am averse to taking risks. This year I was determined to change it.

I have come to realise that since the time I quit the security of a job to start my own online marketing business, I like taking chances. When I signed up for an office space in the iconic St Kilda Road Towers, I did not have a single client. Now we have some big names like Telstra, Dodo, Commonwealth Bank. We have taken businesses to the coveted #1 rank on page 1 of Google.

After the decision to go horse-betting was made, the first hurdle to cross was where do you go from here? Tab outlet is the place to go I was told. I had picked my horse.

What I actually ended up doing was place a Quinella bet. Not bad for starters. I picked 7 horses who I thought would get top spots (there is a lot more to it than just that, of course not as complicated as Google algorithm).

Result “ I tripled my money !!!

It pays to be a risk-taker. You know what I am doing next year betting 10 times as much and my wining will be substantial. Before that happens and I stop taking optimisation projects, I strongly recommend give our office a call and win the race to rankings on search engines.
